In my work I explore color and form, most often I use organic abstract forms. But despite this, in this picture I wanted to convey a very real impression of flying kites on the seashore. The combination of a quite realistic three-dimensional sky and flat abstract figures creates an interesting contrast, and these contrasts achieve the surreal effect that I managed to experience in reality. By this I wanted to show that the understanding of reality is rather shaky and the line between the images that our brain gives rise to and those that are in reality is very thin.
