FLO DOUCENDE ARTIST. POETRY AND MASTERY OF TECHNIQUE.

FLOD is a French contemporary artist, living in Spain. After attending courses at the Beaux-Arts in Avignon in France, despite her desires, she embraces an administrative career and finds herself imprisoned in a rigid and sanitized yoke of all creativity. However, the fascination for the magic of colours never leaves her.

Today, her empathetic and generous nature can display her feelings, and she delivers that overflow of sensations buried in it, whether on canvas, wood, or stone.

FLOD gives us her view of the world: a painting without restraint, without defined rules, but always harmonious, colourful, euphoric, and loaded with emotions emanating from the soul.

Her works, neither figurative nor abstract, have always had a significant symbolic form. The artist gives herself entirely to this indefinite sphere requiring both poetry and mastery of technique.

Her current craze: dot art, an ancestral technique that she appropriates in the personalization of each work.

Flod participates in competitions and has been awarded many times: semi-finalist in Miami, medallist in Barcelona several times, trophy in Barcelona as well, digital competition in Toulouse, etc.

Her works have been exhibited in France, Reunion, Barcelona, ​​Miami, Rome, Venice, London and Zurich.

Artists such as: Gustav Klimt, Gaudi, Gerhard Richter, Jackson Pollock, Adam Cohen, Henri Parsinia, Barbara Takanaga, Charles Carson, Uzoni, and many more again... have always inspired her and certainly influenced her in her artistic research.

Each work, for her, is like a refuge where meditation transports her to a haven of peace; refusing to comply with established regulations, no doubt in rebellion with her former career. This may also be the reason why when she starts a new work, over a few colours, she finds herself very quickly out of what she had tried to "program" and then take a circuitous route for her greatest pleasure.

Her goal is to offer more and more dreams and escapes. Carried away by her passion, she leave no centimetre blank, refining every detail and aiming for a rendered success.

Despite her stammering in this field, she was surprised and happy to learn that her works bring well-being to people who tell her they feel in her work, joy and serenity. That's actually how she feels herself, playing with colours. What is more, she feels great happiness when it is shared.
