This sculpture is part of a large series called ‘Landscapes,’ in which I explore our sensations of being in different natural environments. In this sculpture, I explore the sensations of being in an autumn forest with dry, yellowed leaves. Walks in an autumn forest with leaves rustling underfoot put us into an almost trance-like state, when we can distract ourselves from everything and think about the eternal.
